History of Skinny Jeans

Skinny Jeans have been a popular denim jean choice ever since the 1950s and 1960s when well known people like James Dean, Marlon Brando and Elvis wore their denim jeans with a tight fit. The heart of Rock 'n' Roll took place in the 1970's and continued the skinny jean legacy. Even though one mainly thinks of bell  bottoms and flare jeans when they think of this time period, look a bit further down the road and you will notice that groups like the Sex Pistols and the Ramones were avid wearers of the skinny jeans. There were a few different movements when it came to denim jeans in the 1980's. Not only were stretch denim jeans invented, but the Rolling Stones kept the the skinny jeans alive within the music industry which always has had a huge impact on fashion in general. Groups like the Rolling Stones also carried the skinny jeans movement through the 90's even though bootcut jeans were a very popular trend at the time. Some may argue that during the 90's, the skinny jean was faded out a bit by the bootcut and baggy jean movement but regardless, it is now in full swing and is one of the hottest trends making it one of the most popular premium denim jean choice out there.
